Here at Cornerstone Church we serve because Christ first served us. We don’t do it to simply fill a time slot or even to be better people but rather we want to inject the hope of the gospel in a practical way into those around us.

Rather than fostering a consumeristic mentality where just a few people do all the work and everyone else benefits, we’re called to serve as Jesus did. We’re called to go into our communities and love them practically. We believe that some of the greatest community comes through serving one another and there are many ways to serve here at Cornerstone Church (see below).

The goal of the Connect ministry is to create a positive, personal experience for each and every person who enters our church, starting from the minute they walk into the building. Jesus sees everyone and the part of the Connect team’s job is to be His eyes!  If you have the gift of hospitality and have been looking for a way to give back and serve the Lord, the Connect Team invites you to join them.

The facilities team has taken the lead and partners with the body in fulfilling the responsibility to be good stewards of the church building.  We come together to maintain and beautify the building.  The important work is equipping believers with a faith that works in real life and the building is a tool to construct the “real” church, the people inside.  How we take care of what has been given to us shows how important it is to us.  We hope visitors and the body will see how faithful we are with the building and will see how faithful we will be with them as members.

We are looking for men and women who want to accomplish the above.  We are looking for people who are only able to commit a couple of times a year to once or twice monthly.
